It's the first day of spring and we couldn't be more excited about it here at dress! Bring on the spring sunshine, spring cleaning and most importantly spring trends. Be on the lookout for bright floral prints, neon colors, all denim looks, and mixed prints while shopping for spring. Here is a guide to wearing the latest spring trends!
The neon trend is something we've seen in previous seasons that has carried through to spring. The trend can be seen on the runway from designers like Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, and Alice + Olivia. You can also find the neon trend on the New From Market racks at both of our locations in Wade and Six Forks. Look out for hot pink, neon green, bright yellow and shades of bright blue during this upcoming spring season to stay on-trend!
Nothing says spring better than a bright floral print! This season, designers like Rebecca Taylor, Valentino, and Giuseppe Zanotti have amped up the classic floral prints with bright colors. Morphing the neon trend with a floral classic print has created the showstopping bright floral trend that everyone is adding to their wardrobe! Go big with a bright floral maxi dress or mix in the print with shoes, jewelry, purses or a fun blouse.
Now that the 90's are completely back in style, so is the Canadian Tuxedo a.k.a. all-denim ensembles. The look can be accomplished in a few different ways! Feeling bold? go big with double denim with the same shade for a dramatic look. Make the trend modern by mixed dark shades of denim with lighter shades. Not sure what denim brands to look for? Some of our favorite brands at dress are Mother denim, J Brand, Citizens of Humanity, and our new from market brand Articles of Society.
Mixing prints has been becoming more trendy by the season but brands have taken it to the next level with creating pieces with duel prints. You will see brands like Nanette Lepore, Alice + Olivia and Versace mixing trendy prints, like leopard print, bright florals, and neons with classic prints like polka dots and stripes, to create unique and fresh collections.
