I come from a long line of fashionistas. Designers, clothes, shoes, and accessories have always fascinated me—I was that teenager with her own sense of style.

I put many years in corporate sales and marketing under my (seriously fashionable) belt. After the birth of my third child, I wanted to spend more time with my family, yet I wanted to keep my wardrobe up-to-date and full of the designer looks I’ve always loved. But without that regular paycheck, I couldn’t justify paying retail prices.

I opened dress. because I love helping women put together great outfits at a great value. It’s great fun to go to work each day and see the fabulous new pieces arriving daily with labels such as Chanel, Free People, Juicy Couture, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Dolce et Gabbana, and BCBG—and so many others! The consignment part comes naturally—don’t we all like to make room in our closets for new designer pieces?
